Playa Grande Golf Course
Over twenty-three amazing golf courses are scattered throughout the Dominican Republic. These courses are designed by many of the best course designers in the world such as Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and the ‘godfather of golf course design,’ Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The crowning achievement of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. is seen in the magnificent and challenging course design at the Campo de Golf Playa Grande (Playa Grande Golf Course), also known as the "Pebble Beach of the Caribbean."
The Playa Grande Golf Course, which many feel is the best course in the Caribbean, is a scant 15 minutes from the front door of Golden Dolphin Villa. With 10 of its magical 18 holes hugging the rugged coastline atop soaring sea cliffs with pounding surf at their feet, the course is as beautiful as it is challenging. Whether you are a novice golfer or a practiced duffer for many years, the Playa Grande Golf Course is destined to remain in your fondest memories for years to come.
